Introduction

Greek Young Matrons' Association

The Greek Young Matrons’ Association was founded in 1951 with the objective of raising funds, for sick children with special needs and for children who need extra care within the community mainly through Children’s Hospitals. The Association also makes donations to various other charities in need such as Estia and St Andrews Theological College.

The Greek Young Matrons’ Association is proud of its philanthropic record in the community and especially its charitable pledges to the Sydney Children’s Hospital. Since its creation, the Association has contributed in excess of $3 million to support sick children, their families and the community.

We are proud of what we have been able to achieve, but there is still much more work to be done. All donations are accomplished through fundraising efforts, which include dinners, luncheons, fashion parades and our Annual Debutante Ball.

Our success and the ability to make these significant contributions to the community is only possible because of the generous support of our members, donors and sponsors.
